I’m back from the Haven Conference that took place in Atlanta last week. If you saw my vlog from my first day there you might have picked up on some of my excitement.
For me, Haven was…
- Amazing
- Overwhelming
- Heavenly
- Exhilarating
- Entertaining
- and Necessary
Why necessary? Because if you’ve read my blog lately you may have noticed that I was feeling pulled in many directions. I bought my ticket for Haven right after it was announced last year but honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time. I was in a rut, trying to do everything for everyone and not sure where to focus. I’ve had antique booths, I tried Etsy, I moved my blog to WordPress, I rebranded my blog and business, all while having a full-time job and family.

(Some of the fantastic folks I got to meet)
Did I learn a lot at Haven? Absolutely! I’ll be posting about some of the things I’ve learned over the next couple of weeks.
But you know what I really got the most out of at Haven? TIME. Time to meet incredible people with similar interests. Time to focus on my blog and business and where I want to go with it. Time to breathe and focus on something I’m so passionate about without worrying I was taking away time from something else (i.e., laundry, dinner, my “real job”, etc)
Would I go to Haven again? You bet, I’m planning on it!
Would I recommend it? Definitely!

(The amazing ladies who put the Haven Conference together)
Did you go to Haven? If so, let me know what you thought of it.
If you didn’t go, what questions do you have about it?
