Craftaholics Anonymous – Linda over at Craftaholics Anonymous is always up to something fun! This week she shared a code for 40% off Silhouette machine accessories! You should also check out her amazing craft room!

Stuff I’d Like to Make – When I joined Pinterest I started a board called “Stuff I’d Like to Make“. Kind of my “to do some day” list. Well, it’s grown and grown lately! So, this week I’d like to send my love to all of the folks who have provided inspiration and ideas!!!

Last year I started a regular feature that you guys loved I think you guys liked called “Weekly Love“. (new button below that I just made, like it?)

13 Steps to Being the Worst Blogger – I love this post by Karol K of ThemeFuse. I think I’ve been guilty of #9 lately, so sorry guys (GULP)!

The Rusted Chain – Have you ever checked out this wonderful little shop? Her jewelry is amazing! I wanted to share something specific from her shop though…for the month of January (only a few days left!) $10 from each purchase of this necklace will go to ICT S.O.S. – an organization to help stop human trafficking. I ordered mine!

It’s Pinterest, Not Brain Surgery – If you are not on the FREE Pinterest site yet, what are you waiting for? If you need an invite, just let me know. Weekly Love #11

It’s been a while since the last Weekly Love! Did you think I had fallen out of love with the World?

Nope, still lovin’ on folks just haven’t been over here to tell you all about it!

So, here we go for today’s LOVE fest…

  • Meyer-Imports – Have you ever purchased from this company? I first heard of them from Miss Mustard Seed’s blog. She recommended them for their glass glitter. Well folks, they not only have amazing glitter but they also have awesome customer service! Hold on to your hats – When you call them, you can actually talk to a LIVE person! Better yet, that person is not reading from some sort of script! I’m planning an “Intro to Glass Glitter” class soon and they have just been awesome to work with. Go check them out!

  • Rivit Media – This company was created with the goal of bringing together great folks in the DIY community. I joined their community and now post ads for their advertsers on my blog. They work with advertisers who want to reach the craft/DIY audience. The Rivit folks are great to work with and it has helped me to make a little extra money each month to cover some of my “picking” costs!

Weekly Love #10

Hey blogville!

I know I know, I’ve been a bit MIA lately. First, my iPhone is very distracting! Second, I’m trying to clean my house – it’s a disaster and my vintage finds / refurnishing projects are threatening to take over. Third, my “real” job during the week has been a bit demanding. How rude right?

Anyway, I did manage to post the Would You But It linky party earlier in the week so if you haven’t added your item, remember you have until end of day today (Sunday) to do it!

Now, I’ve got a couple of goodies for you today for Weekly Love!

  • Potentially Beautiful - have you checked out this blog? I love Gloria’s blog header, so pretty. But today I want to share a link to her recent blog post…all about her first auction experience! I’ve never been to an auction and have been itching to go. I’m a bit nervous though so I was happy to see Gloria’s post. Now I really want to go! Have you been to an auction?   • Miss Mustard Seed App – We all know and love MMS. But did you know she has an app?! Yep, she’s cool like that. Just download her FREE app and you can read all her blog posts easily on your smartphone. How smart is that?
  • Holidays – Ok, big disclaimer here. This will be your first holiday season with me and I need to warn you. I LOVE the holidays. I mean LOVE them. I used to be one of those people who was done Christmas shopping in October and wrapping in November. I say used to because now I have a child and a puppy and a booth and well, life is a bit busier. To help me organize my ideas for this year, I’ve started my Holidays Pinterest board! Take a look to see what I’ve pinned so far (some of the ideas are shown below) – I hope it will give you some holiday inspiration!

  • Design Sponge – Did you know Design Sponge has a new book coming out? Check it out here. What really got me this week though was this cool idea for reusing maps AND the awesome idea they shared for hanging them!

  • Mollie Makes – Have you seen this great new magazine? I found my copy at Barnes & Noble. So many cute ideas, I already have several pages marked! Check out their website for subscription information and a sampling of their craft ideas.

Weekly Love #7

Hi y’all -

To kickoff weekly love this week, I’d like to talk about two of my loves…Travel and New York City. I get to do both this weekend as my hubby, son & I hit the big city for a long weekend! It will be my son’s first time in NYC and we’re very excited. Can’t wait to see his face when he sees just how big those buildings are. :-)   Oh and did I mention I plan to do some junkin and thriftin there? woot woot!

Ok, now on with the show…

Picnik – Does anyone use this site? If you are looking for an easy way to make photo edits/enhancements, check out www.picnik.com. A lot of the features are free, or you can pay to upgrade to premium status and have access to all of the features. I do not have Photoshop yet and have found this to be more than adequate for blog pictures, etc. I even used it to make my buttons and header!

Lovely Etc – Carrie at Lovely Etc. just started her blog in June and now also has an antique booth! She has some gorgeous pictures of her booth here. Go check out her site today and cheer this newbie on!
