Another Spray Paint Goody

First, I know we are talking about spray paint this week but I just have to share…I received my first Annie Sloan chalk paint yesterday! woot woot! I ordered it from The Mill at Gibsonville in North Carolina. They just started selling the paint online last week and last I checked, still had all colors in stock. I can not say enough about the great customer service these guys provided AND I received my shipment in only two business days! So, look for some projects from me VERY soon using my new chalk paint.

Now, back to the regularly scheduled spray paint week…

Today I’m featuring a goody from the past that is one of my favorite transformations. Again using the Classic Gray Krylon (can you tell I love that stuff? and I’ve never been a gray fan!).

Here’s the before…

And the after…

What are you waiting for? Go link up your favorite spray paint projects in my Krylon Kapers week! Did I mention there’s a prize?!

Now, one last housekeeping item. Did you see? over there on the right? I FINALLY have a blog button! I did it all myself so I’m pretty proud of it. Anyway, if there’s any room on your blog OR if you enter in the Krylon Kapers party below, I would love it if you would include my new button…or at least a link to my site.

thank you!

P.S. – stay tuned this week for 2 new spray paint projects I did recently and they do NOT involve furniture!

Krylon Kapers Kickoff

It’s here! My first linky party!

Did you decide which spray paint project you want to link up yet? Don’t worry, I’m leaving the party up all week so you have until end of day Sunday to decide! Just remember, you can share any project as long as you used spray paint. This is my FIRST linky party – no pressure or anything. :-)

Throughout the week I’ll post some highlights from my recent spray paint projects.

Oh…what’s that? You want to know about the prize?

One winner will be randomly selected to win a Hobby Lobby gift card! They sell many great items including Krylon spray paint (you can even shop online).

Rules:

  1. Up to 3 entries per person only please.
  2. Chalkboard paint, mirror spray etc. is all ok for this linky party as long as it comes in a spray can. It doesn’t have to be Krylon, that just happens to be what I used.
  3. Link back to my blog somewhere in your post. (I have a new blog button over there on the right!)
  4. Link directly to your post, not your blog home page.

That’s it!  Ok, let’s go. Link away!

Link your spray paint projects here:

Announcing…Krylon Kapers!

I’ve done several projects recently using spray paint…mostly Krylon brand.

Remember this one?

So, I’m calling next week “Krylon Kapers” week! I will open a linky party on Monday for you to share your favorite projects that used spray paint. If it’s not Krylon brand, it’s ok, they’re not sponsoring this or anything!

Oh, and there just might be a prize! Oh yes, there will most definitely be a prize.

What are you waiting for? Go figure out what project you are going to submit and tell your blogger friends! It’s my first linky party and I want it to be a BIG one! woot woot! :-)
