Would You Buy It Wednesday – #15

Hey folks – hope you are all having a great week!

I’m trying something new this week and am combining my Would You Buy It Wrap-up and the Would You Buy It Wednesday #15 together in one post. I’m multi-tasking if you will. :-)

So…for the wrap-up.

Last week we had 14 folks link up, thank you!

Studio 162 linked up this beauty…

She had the most “Likes”! She picked up this piece for $2.99. Go take a look and see if you would buy it.

Now for this week!

I found this…

It’s rusty! Would You Buy It? It has a ledge in the back that looks like you could set a small plant or candle on it. What would you do with it?

Now, Here’s How YOU Can Participate:

  1. Comment on my post; let me know if you would buy the item I blogged about above.
  2. Create your own blog post re: an item(s) you saw this week while you were out thrifting/shopping/junking.
  3. Link up to your post below to invite all of blogville to weigh in on your find(s)! You have until Saturday at Midnight ET.
  4. Please grab the “Would You Buy it Wednesday” linky button below OR at least include a link back to my blog.
  5. Check out what others are linking up below and let them know if YOU would buy it!

Please Note: This linky party is NOT for links to stores or
advertisements! Your links should only go to blog posts following the
rules above. I apologize to those participants who have clicked on links
recently that violated these rules. I will delete violators as quickly
as possible!

Would You Buy It Wednesday – #4

Who’s ready for Would You Buy It Wednesday? Woohoo!

Here’s how it works…every Wednesday, I post a picture of something I saw at a thrift store, estate or yard sale, etc. Then, I’d like to hear from you – would you buy it? Tell me why or why not and what you would do with it (fix it up, repurpose, etc.). THEN, (here’s where the linky party comes in!), you can post a link to something YOU found and get us to weigh in. Anytime I walk away from a sale or store I’m always wondering “if someone else was with me, what would they have bought? did I miss a hidden treasure?”. So this is just a way for us to do that virtually.

Here’s my item to share this week…

A nice rusty pulley! My research tells me this is perhaps a well pulley. I found it at an estate sale in my neighborhood last weekend. So, would you buy it? Would you use it as a decoration or put it to work?

Now, Here’s How YOU Can Participate:

  1. Comment on my post; let me know if you would buy the item I blogged about above.
  2. Create your own blog post re: an item(s) you saw this week while you were out thrifting/shopping/junking.
  3. Link up to your post below to invite all of blogville to weigh in on your find(s)! You have until Saturday at Midnight ET.

Most of all, have fun! Can’t wait to see what you guys link up this week!

Questions of the Week #4

Hey guys -

It’s time for Stephanie’s “Questions of the Week!” (insert theme music here). Here’s what I have for you this week.

  • If I have an item (such as a tin box, scale, etc) that is very rusty and I want to remove a LITTLE rust (I still love some rust), what can I use to do that?
  • Has anyone ever used http://www.worthpoint.com to determine the worth of an item?
  • For those of you with a booth/store, do you have a separate blog for it that is not as personal? I was thinking, if I do get a booth, I wouldn’t necessarily want to send customers to this blog but I could setup another blog (they’re free afterall!) with updates as to when I’m adding new merchandise, etc. Or maybe a Facebook page. Or both. Thoughts?

As always, sound off in the comments below and/or email me directly at junkernewbie@gmail.com. I’ll just be hanging around dreaming of Paris with this image from the Graphics Fairy.
