I had the opportunity this past Friday to join my in-laws on the Greenville Council of Garden Club’s Spring garden tour.
I had never been on a tour like it before and it was a fantastic experience!
I was excited to see some “junking/repurposing” elements in the gardens.
Take a look at the photos below for a bit of the tour!
Love the mirror on this porch, lots of architectural interest!
Great old table.
Repurpose an old frame for display on a fence!
Another way to repurpose an old window or mirror.
Old rusty urn looks fabulous in the garden
I was never sure if I liked bottle trees but now I’m sure I DO!
Great rusty piece to add interest in the garden.
This wall/fence on the deck is made of old shutters!
Broken pot? Don’t throw it away! Simply lay it on it’s side!
Great architectural piece topped with moss & plants for the center of the garden table
Porch furniture retro style
You could easily do this with old bottles / jars. These were simply tied to sticks and stuck in the ground!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the garden tour! So many ideas, so little time right?
Do you use “junk” or repurposed items in your garden? I would love to hear about it!
