First, thank you so much for reading my blog! I still get tickled that anyone would take the time to read what I write! 
So, about me. I’m a 30-something wife and a mom to a wonderful 5-year-old boy. I have a “real” big girl job so I try to cram as much junk/vintage/decorating love as I can into the hours of the day I have left.
My dad did a little selling at flea markets when I was a kid but I really never began my love for junk and repurposing until I became a homeowner. You won’t find me talking about vintage fashion or the latest vintage dress I bought because well, I live in t-shirts and jeans. I DO love to talk about home decorating, repurposing the old to make it new again, and of course finding junk. In the last couple of years I went to my first estate sale, started a couple of antique booths and I’ve been hooked ever since!
I also love to write and that’s how my first blog, Junker Newbie, came to be. I’ve since created this site but am still focused on the same things…I hope to be of help to others that have a new love of junk and also hope this blog will be a great way to learn from all of those that have been doing this since they could walk.
